The location is unbeatable!! Is so cozy, clean, nice and spacious.

Everything actually was fine, maybe just the breakfast and the food menu in general could get better a bit. More options.

We had a cottage by ourselves, so that was pretty nice. Bathroom was nice and big with a very nice bathtub. However, the bathroom was outdoor, so it was quiet hot and with insects (I guess I am just not used to this kind of setting). Right outside of the hotel, across the road, there is a beach with launch chair (& restaurants) that we can use. Good snorkeling spot, we can see sea turtles swimming by. Nice place to hang out during the day, and great place to watch sunrise. The good thing is the beach was not that busy (private?), so we can always get front row seats.Location was very convenient, there are many good restaurants & massages places within 10-15min walk. Many diving shop & snorkeling tour shops (very inexpensive) close by too. It was approx 20-30min walk from the pier, so better to use the horse carriage to take you & luggage to the hotel.Breakfast was pretty good, they will take your order, rather than buffet style. Not too many variety though.The whole island was just prefect, with very nice water, beautiful scenery & beaches.

There are many cottages close to each other, so the environment was a little crowded. There are quite a few mosquitos, but the hotel would light up 1 Repellent Coils outside of the door (& bathroom if I asked them to), which would last whole night.

Wide room, breakfast a la carte and located close to the beach.

The silence is interrupted by the prayers of the nearby mosque.

Vila Almarik was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in a prime location on Gili Trawangan, it offered the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. The resort's lush gardens, spacious pathways, and peaceful ambiance created a relaxing haven that felt like a true island escape.The room was beautifully maintained—spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting.While we didn’t sample the food during our stay, everything else about Vila Almarik spoke of quality and attention to detail. The staff were courteous, helpful, and always ready with a warm smile, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout.For anyone seeking comfort, charm, and a great location on the island, Vila Almarik is a fantastic choice. Would absolutely return in a heartbeat!

Large, modern well equipped villa.. great location central but quiet. We were fortunate to stay in one of the new villas which comfortably accommodated myself and two children. Huge bathrooms, great aircon and lots of space with magnificent cathedral style ceiling.

Last swim at 7pm is early for families, need to get a coffee machine- a latte in the morning would make all the difference!

The room was large and the toilet was very good. The staff were also very attentive and were very responsive when we requested for anything. Design of the Villa was also very good, with enough power points and no need for travel adapters. They also had a wash point at the front of the Villa to wash off the sand before you enter your room. When you snorkel out, you can see quite a few turtles feeding in the shallows.

The WiFi network was not very stable, and would keep switching off if you are not using it. This is especially so in the bathroom, when you can’t get any network, but it wouldn’t affect the entire experience.

Bungalow was spacious, clean and airy. Huge bathroom complete with everything you needed.Staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling, polite and courteous. Good choice for breakfast, plenty of options.Slightly out of the main area which was perfect for us as it was a little quieter. Only a few minutes walk to be right in the hub at night. The villa is under refurbishment at the moment but this didn't cause any disturbance at all.

The location was the best spot on the island. Close enough to the harbor and main strip but not too close that it was noisy. The beach directly out front of the hotel was the best spot to snorkel and swim. We literally just hopped in and saw a turtle a metre away from us. Calm, clean water. The hotel was great. Meals were excellent, comfy bed, good air con. Excellent spot for families.

Spacious Room. Great location for snorkeling, also away from the party bars and noises. Hotel staff was nice.

Had to pay extra 100k per day for my 4yr old. The reason was we arrived with an extra person(?) from the booking info, so the hotel needed to charge more to provide extra service and towels. We didn't get any of that.Weird color water came out when turned on warm/hot.Watch out for the sharp edges in the swimming pool. My daughter cut her foot on the side of the kid's pool. For a hotel this price on Gili T, it would be nice to provide free services like snorkels, flippers or reef shoes rentals.

Good location & very friendly and helpful personel. Surprise cupcake from the hotel once my birthday- that was very nice. Good breakfast.

Location, size of the room, staff were lovely, good food on the beach, spotless rooms, loved the decor. Grounds were well kept. Massive bed. Well stay again without hesitation when we return to Gili Trawangan

Liked everything.

Villa Almarik is a boutique-style hotel with dedicated staff ready to help whenever possible. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms and the dressing area are large and the little balcony to have an early morning cup of tea is perfect. Though it's a bit further away from the beach, a short walk, the hotel also provides free motorbike drop-off and pick-up service. The kitchen ladies cook delicious food!!! We loved everything on the menu.

We went in December which is the rainy season. That means a lot of bugs and other creepy crawlies, especially since the hotel is surrounded by greenery. The AC in the bedroom didn't work to full capacity and even though the staff looked at it, it didn't cool the room as much as we would have liked. Little bugs would fall out of the AC and since it was directly positioned over the bed, they would fall on it. The lounge didn't have games or coffee-making supplies in case a family decided to hang out.

Perfect location. Close enough to restaurants but far enough for a quiet and relaxing stay. The rooms were well appointed and air conditioning was super cold and refreshing. Large pool with view. Gorgeous setting.

Staff were wonderful. Nanang and Yani were exceptional.Fantastic location

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms, and everything was beautiful, especially the amazing bathroom. They paid attention to every details, e.g. from various types of outlets to both a bathtub and shower, all to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast was also great, with a wide selection, and the staff was very kind and helpful.

Very close to the beach.So so spacious !!!Our AC wasnt working so we had to inform them and they fixed it.Has a foot wash at the entrance of every room so we can wash off the sand before entering the room.

Not very soundproof, we could hear the next door neighbour coughing, the sound of horses at the street.

Location and atmosphere. Not too far from the center but quiet, easy to access the turtle beach. Room was clean and spacious.

Aircon was broken at first two days

Staff were really helpful and welcomed us with suprises. Room was clean and everyday taken cared of as well. Especially location is close to center but far away from the rush noise of people and bars. Islands best kitchens only walk away far away from the hotel

Not much thing but internet connection is not good at the rooms that far away from the reception area.
